Often, while we’re working, we move from one need to the next without pause. But transitions matter. Try a simple 2-minute reset between tasks:
Step 1: Drink water. Even a few sips.
Step 2: Take 3 slow breaths.
Step 3: Release tension. Unclench your jaw. Drop your shoulders.
Step 4: Choose your tone. Ask: “How do I want to show up in the next moment?”
This tiny pause:
  • Reduces stress buildup
  • Helps prevent reactive responses
  • Models emotional regulation
We can’t control everything during our work hours, but we can control how we enter the next moment. Small resets add up. Use these reset steps between tasks the next time you work, and see how you feel at the end of your day!
